Eaton Corporation (Eaton) is recalling certain differentials with part numbers Q14022-010, Q14023-010, Q14032-010, and Q14033-010. The differential may have been improperly manufactured with oversized gear teeth, causing the differential to lock.

Production Dates: August 31, 2025, through September 01, 2025.

Product of concern is any material produced, purchased, or installed during this time period with manufacturing date codes stamped on differential dated between 25152 through 25243 (inclusive).

Do not drive the vehicle and contact the Eaton Call Center at 1-800-328-3850.

This concern is safety related. The condition can cause the differential to lock impeding the ability to turn as expected, effectively increasing the turning radius of the vehicle not allowing the driver full control.

After installing the differential, operators may notice during initial test drives that, when the unit is unlocked or disengaged, turning maneuvers can produce a ratcheting sound and require greater steering effort, resulting in a wider-than-expected turning radius.

Contact the Eaton Call Center if you suspect your product falls within the risk window and to confirm next steps. Reimbursement for replacement of differential unit and covered associated costs will be issued upon return of affected product to Eaton.
