Simon Matthieson Svein Haglund
Simon Matthieson is the Vice President & General Manager for EMEA Crouse-Hinds, B-Line, Oil & Gas, Electrical Sector, Eaton.

Simon has been in his current role since late 2020. Prior to this, Simon was the General Manager of the MTL & Hazardous Area Communications divison, for the Electrical Sector of Eaton.

Simon joined Eaton (formerly Cooper) in 2006 as Purchasing and Outsourcing Manager for the Cooper Security business in Mitcheldean UK. Holding various roles of increasing seniority within the operations function including Cooper Safety Division Supply Chain and Sourcing Director, he ultimately became the Global Product Line Manager for Hazardous Area Communications.

Prior to joining Eaton, Simon worked at the Invensys Corporation (Rail Systems Division) in various operations and supply chain roles for 7 years.

Simon holds a degree in Business Management from Oxford Brookes University and is a full Member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply.

Simon is based in Luton, England.
Svein Haglund is the plant manager for Eaton’s HERNIS™ facility in Arendal, Norway.

The HERNIS™ product line is part of the Crouse-Hinds series. Svein has been in his current role since the beginning of 2019 and is is also a member of the Board of Directors for the HERNIS™ product line.

During his career, Svein has gained broad experience, initially with R&D and Project Management and later within operations and production.

Svein joined Eaton (at the time HERNIS™) in April 2010 as Site Leader. Prior to his engagement with Eaton, Svein was one of the founders of a startup Telenor Maritime, previously known as Maritime Communications Partner (MCP) for 7 years. Svein previously worked at Ericsson in various R&D and Project Management roles for 9 years.

Svein holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from The University of Agder in the field of telecommunication and electronics. 

Svein is based in Arendal, Norway.
