Review of energizing high-power MV AC drives

This session will introduce the well-known high-power medium-voltage AC drive technologies.  Starting with types using a capacitive DC link voltage source inverter, fed from a drive isolation transformer and multi-phase rectifier, summarizing the many approaches of initial energization techniques.

Passive mv mcc arc resistant construction without opening to the environment

This session will cover the details of an oil & gas, and petrochemical industrial facilities can include explosive atmospheres with increased sensitivity to ignition sources.  Depending upon the proximity to these areas, the rarely occurring arc flash in electrical power distribution and control assembles can pose safety risks.
