NETTERSHEIM, GERMANY … The Filtration Division of the energy management company Eaton will be exhibiting numerous new filtration solutions for the Industrial Processing, Life Sciences, and Hydraulic Filtration segments at booth C15 in hall 5.0 at the leading international trade show ACHEMA (June 10th to 14th in Frankfurt, Germany). These include the new SENTINEL® MAXPO and DURAGAF™ MAXPOXL specialty filter bag ranges, the new simplex and duplex pipeline basket strainers, the new BECO CARBON™ ACF03 activated carbon depth filter sheets, and the new printing set for the CCS 5 contamination control system.

To boost process efficiency, particularly in the filtration of oil-containing liquids such as chemicals, paints and varnishes, Eaton's filter bag program now includes two 2-in-1 specialty filter bag ranges. The SENTINEL MAXPO and DURAGAF MAXPOXL ranges feature an additional inner core that significantly increases their dirt-holding capacity and oil absorption ability.

The new bypass-free simplex and duplex basket strainers are installed in chemical, petrochemical and water pipes, and effectively protect industrial systems from unwanted particles. The improved sealing and surface finish properties comply with the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED), EN13445 and AD 2000 pressure vessel codes.

With the new BECO CARBON™ ACF 03 grade, available in flat sheet, stacked disc cartridge and disposable capsule designs, Eaton is responding to the growing demand for user-friendly activated carbon sheets tested for endotoxins for pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical and fine chemical applications. Active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) and active cosmetic ingredient (ACI) manufacturing processes in particular demand the strong capabilities of activated carbon depth filter sheets for decolorization and adsorptive separation of undesired byproducts. The activated carbon depth filter sheets can be used in BECO INTEGRA® PLATE enclosed plate and frame filters, for which Eaton will be presenting a new and innovative cleaning solution at ACHEMA.

The mobile CCS 5 contamination control system quickly and accurately determines the solid contamination particle size distribution, water saturation, and temperature of hydraulic fluids in real-time for up to 100,000 measured values. Users can now enhance the system with the new portable printing set consisting of a thermal printer, thermal paper, and USB adaptor to conveniently print out or archive measurement results.
