NETTERSHEIM, GERMANY … The requirements for filtration solutions in the water industry and other commercial applications are diverse. Eaton therefore offers operators a wide range of filter cartridge housings. To further expand the area of application, Eaton is now introducing multi-filter cartridge housings from the ECOCART™ series. The configurations for 3 to 12 filter cartridges (depending on regional offerings) enable the installation of both double open ended (DOE) and single open ended (SOE) filter cartridges, featuring standard differential pressure connections.
With an electropolished outer and pickled inner surface, the filter cartridge housings are not only suitable for applications in water treatment, but also for parts cleaning, the production of paints and coatings, and the automotive industry. Users can choose from heights for 10, 20, 30 and 40-inch filter cartridges. The ECOCART multi-filter cartridge housings meet filtration capacity and flow rate requirements across various applications, and is suitable for use in confined production spaces.
Wide range of filter cartridge housings and filter cartridges for every application
Flexibility was the main focus in the design of the filter cartridge housing. “The possibility of using filter cartridges that are open on both sides or open on one side with a fin provides more options for desired product variants in the filter cartridge segment,” explains Ulrich Latz, Global Industrial Filtration Product Manager at Eaton. “The lightweight housings can be used variably, are easy to clean and offer all the properties that operators typically need, especially in the price-sensitive water segment.”
For optimal filtration results, users combine the ECOCART filter cartridge housings with meltblown filter cartridges from Eaton's LOFTREX™ series or pleated filter cartridges from the Eaton’s LOFPLEAT™ series. Operators who are responsible for particularly demanding processes such as the filtration of chemicals, solvents and other critical media will find suitable single and multi-filter cartridge housing solutions in the TOPCART™ series.
The ECOCART filter cartridge housings are delivered in a vertical alignment on four welded feet and can be opened quickly and easily with a V-clamp lock. An O-ring made of EPDM or NBR serves as a standard seal. The multi-filter cartridge housings with a maximum permissible operating pressure of 150 psi (10 bar) and a maximum permissible operating temperature of 200°F (90°C) are now available on the market.
