Eaton introduces PED-compliant Simplex 72X cast pipeline basket strainers for water management at Aquatech 2021

NETTERSHEIM, Germany … The Filtration Division of energy management company Eaton is going to be exhibiting at Aquatech 2021 in Amsterdam from November 2 to 5. In Hall 1, Booth 01.501. Eaton will be presenting the new Simplex 72X pipeline strainer range where temporary shutdown for cleaning or replacement is possible.

With more than 15,000 trade visitors, Aquatech is one of the world's largest trade shows in the process, drinking and waste water sector. “The Simplex 72X pipeline basket strainer range complies with the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED), is available in six standard sizes from 1 to 6 inches and has very good sealing and surface quality characteristics,” explains Wim Callaert, senior product manager at Eaton's Filtration Division. “The Simplex 72X stainless steel or cast iron models are perfect for chemical, petrochemical and water pipeline applications and will impress the knowledgeable audience at Aquatech.” The strainer basket filter range is CE-marked to PED and complies with EN13445 and AD 2000 regulations for pressure vessels. The Simplex 72X strainers provide full bypass-free filtration of solids as small as 40 microns, protecting process equipment.
