Eaton Helps Power Generation Customers Enhance Uptime, Efficiency and Safety at 2016 Electric Power Conference from April 18 through 21

PITTSBURGH, PA — Power management company Eaton is highlighting its products and services for the power generation market from April 18 through 21 at the 2016 Electric Power Conference and Exhibition in New Orleans. Visitors to booth #1017 will have the opportunity to meet with Eaton’s utility application experts and discover a range of solutions for enhancing plant reliability, efficiency and safety – including a new motor control center (MCC) designed with both arc-containment and arc-preventative technology.

The FlashGard MCC arc-resistant motor control center (MCC) is designed with both arc-containment and arc-preventative technology. The solution is designed to both prevent an arc flash event and protect personnel if an arc flash occurs. At conference booth #1017, visitors can learn how Eaton has built on nearly a decade of more than 10,000 installations to develop the game-changing solution that emphasizes prevention, insulation and isolation to help operators achieve new levels of safety during routine maintenance operations.
