Eaton’s xStorage 400 energy storage system helps meet the rise in energy demand at commercial and industrial facilities.  The need for Distributed Energy Resources (DERs) is a result of electrification and the shift to renewables. xStorage 400 helps facility owners and operators offset the cost of the rising energy demand. In addition, it can generate revenue as it acts as an asset on the local grid.

Our EnergyAware technology helps applications, like data centers, support energy providers by balancing sustainable power generation and consumption. Our Power Xpert Energy Optimizer controller is a microgrid/energystorage control system that simplifies control system configuration, is pre-engineered for device and system testing, and is adaptable to changing microgrid assets. The controller is programmed and ready to maintain overall system stability, shave peak demand, shift loads, manage black starts, achieve lowest total cost of operation, maximize renewable energy contribution and provide utility demand response functionality.
