What did you want to be when you were a child growing up?
I wanted to be Artist or Designer when I was growing up.
What education / degree did you study?
Masters in Advanced Product Design.
What on-the-job technical specialist training have you had at Eaton?
Green Belt Lean Six Sigma Training.
Did you always see yourself in your current career?
Yes, when I was younger I wasn't aware of the diverse range of careers within STEAM. I just knew I always wanted to 'create' things that had a clear purpose and improved a person's life, no matter what form or how small.
What are your current responsibilities?
I am responsible for maintaining high-quality products and services for our Fire Safety product portfolio.
What does the future look like for you?
Exciting and Collaborative by sharing information and utilising innovative smart technology.
What other roles have you had in Eaton?
Mechanical Design Engineer, Senior Mechanical Design Engineer.

Being a learner is the most important attribute to me as because if you learn, that means you are passionate and can achieve all the other attributes necessary for success.

To make work exciting, engaging and meaningful for our employees is the most important of Eaton's Aspirational Goal to have as an engaged workforce is diverse, productive, passionate and put customers and suppliers at the centre of our business.
Which of the STE[a]M subjects do you most relate to and why?
This is a very difficult question because all are so important and are brought into my daily work. My passion lies with Arts and Engineering because the Arts allow you to see things from a wider perspective and think creatively, whilst engineering is about precision, understanding how things work and pushing boundaries.
Who/what inspires you the most?
The people on TED Talks and Grand Designs are inspirational.
