Job Description: With a finance background and a qualification in finance or accounting, you can work your way up through an organization to gain experience of finance management for a manufacturing site. As you gain more experience within this, you can move to supervising a team and then move to managing the whole team for the site.

Professional tennis player.

Bachelor of Science - Business administration.
What on-the-job technical specialist training have you had at Eaton?
Trainings on the systems/tools applied (Encore (incl. Khalix for Excel), MIS, Oracle, SAP). ARCS. Balance Sheet Reviewer.
Did you always see yourself in your current career?
Not at all, up till age of 16. Since I started my apprenticeship, I chose the relevant education steps to develop a career in my current role.
What are your current responsibilities?
Measuring, monitoring and controlling financial goals and KPIs. Fostering CI esp. development of efficiency improvement. Representation of the plant regarding financials into the Division.
What does the future look like for you?
In manufacturing: highly automized analysis tools deliver the needed information on time and directly show parameters to change to receive the expected result. Free up analysis time to drive change and improvement forward.
What other roles have you had in Eaton?
Administrative assistant (industrial clerk). HR clerk. Student assistant in office management. Controlling clerk. Plant Controller.

Transparency is important to have all information clearly structured, open and honestly discussed. With an availability of information, we can ensure efficient working on pre-defined deliverables - the only chance to do what you say and say what you do (be accountable). A further point is to show me that you care; that it is important to you what you do. This is the basis of being passionate and showing you want to be driving things forward by optimizing them.

There is no "planet B" - be an active steward of the environment and ensure to make our planet a little bit greener, every day. Ensure, that our employees can fulfill themselves individually by finding exciting challenges to fight for - incl. the possibility to take a step back and re-organize themselves and get the focus adjusted in what really matters.
Which of the STE[a]M subjects do you most relate to and why?Technology in combination with Mathematics means: super-fast/on time availability of needed data, using smart devices (IoT). Science - as there still is no "planet B".
Who/what inspires you the most?
Great managers around the business who are handling the pressure from the top, but do not lose touch to our business foundations: blue collars that generate value-add.
