Southfield, MI is where our eMobility division was born. Our team is accelerating the electric vehicle revolution through high-tech innovation and manufacturing, as well as empowering the rail, aerospace, medical, and industrial sectors.

Our Southfield campus, in a suburb of Detroit, is an exciting place to work, offering a diverse team of talented people working in collaboration to provide automotive and commercial vehicle manufacturers worldwide with sustainable solutions that enhance vehicle efficiency, safety and performance.

The Southfield campus includes Eaton team members from many business segments, including our Vehicle Group, eMobility business, electrical sector and corporate. We house the center of our global traction inverter development team. 

Vehicle Group products include emission control components, engine valves, valvetrain systems, superchargers, transmissions, clutches and torque management systems.

Our eMobility portfolio includes intelligent power electronics, reliable power distribution and protection, and efficient power solutions for electrified vehicles.

Located in Oakland County, with easy access to most metro area expressways, Southfield offers both a cosmopolitan, culturally-diverse residential population and a thriving international business community. Southfield is centrally located with easy access to major metropolitan freeways, in close proximity to surrounding suburbs such as Bloomfield Hills, Dearborn, Detroit, Farmington Hills, Grosse Pointe and Troy.
