Paulo Ruiz, Chief Executive Officer, Eaton

Paulo Ruiz is chief executive officer of Eaton, a global intelligent power management company. He became CEO on June 1, 2025.

Paulo was appointed president and COO on September 2, 2024, and joined the company’s board of directors at that same time.

Previously, Paulo served as the president and chief operating officer of Eaton’s Industrial Sector, where he was responsible for the Aerospace, Vehicle, e-Mobility, Filtration, and Golf Pride businesses, as well as the company’s operations in the Asia-Pacific, Central and South American regions. He also formerly served as president, Energy Solutions and Services, Americas for Eaton’s Electrical Sector and as president of the company’s Hydraulics Group.

Before joining Eaton in 2019, Paulo spent over 18 years at Siemens serving in a variety of strategic positions around the world, including CEO of Dresser-Rand and segment head for high voltage products. Prior to Siemens, Paulo spent six years in operations, commercial and engineering roles at Fiat.

Paulo holds a master’s degree in business management from Fundação Dom Cabral in Brazil and a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from FEI in São Paulo, Brazil. He also completed the post-MBA program at Kellogg School of Management at Fundação Dom Cabral and the Graduate Development Programme with Isvor Fiat in Turin, Italy.
