Mike Yelton

Mike Yelton is president, Electrical Sector, Americas, for Eaton, an intelligent power management company. Mike is responsible for leading the company’s electrical business in the Americas region. He has served in this role since April 2023.

Mike began his career with Eaton in 1993 as a product engineer in Asheville, North Carolina, and has since advanced through a series of leadership positions in engineering, marketing, and operations within the electrical sector. His previous business leadership roles include president of the Assemblies and Residential Solutions group (ARS), president and general manager of the Commercial and Residential Distribution Solutions business (CRDS), senior vice president of the Commercial Distribution Products and Assemblies division (CDPA), and general manager of the Electrical Engineering Services and Systems division (EESS). 

Mike holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina. He is a member of Eaton’s Global General Manager Talent Council and executive sponsor of the VAMOS employee resource group. Mike serves on the Board of Governors and Executive Committee for the National Electrical Manufacturer’s Association (NEMA).
