John Sapp

John Sapp is president, Aerospace Group, for Eaton, a global intelligent power management company. He was named to this position in December of 2023.​

Prior to joining Eaton, John was a leader at Collins Aerospace, where he most recently served as vice president and general manager of Strategic Solutions for Mission Systems. In his five years at Collins, he held several other roles of increasing responsibility including vice president, general manager, Integrated Solutions business; vice president, Commercial Aftermarket Sales and Support; and vice president, Sales & Surplus, Commercial Aftermarket. ​

John also spent more than 11 years as a leader of GE Aviation. In his time there, he served in roles such as senior director, Sales, and senior director, Commercial Programs.  ​

John served in the US Air Force as an F-15 fighter pilot and was later an instructor at the U.S. Air Force Fighter Weapons School. John graduated from the U.S. Air Force Academy and holds a master’s degree in business administration from New York University.
