Class I, Division 2 Hazardous Location transformers

Type EPZ (single-phase) and EPTZ (three-phase) transformers are UL listed and suitable for installation in Class I, Division 2 Groups A,B, C and D locations, and offer a solution for many petrochemical and other industrial facilities with atmospheres unsuitable for application of either liquid filled or general purpose dry-type transformers.

  • Available in 60 and 50 Hz
  • Standard NEMA 3R enclosures; optional NEMA Type 4X
  • Cores are grounded with a copper lead
