Eaton's B-Line series NEMA Type 4X polycarbonate enclosures are impact-resistant, non-conductive lightweight reinforced polycarbonate.

Designed to house electrical and electronic controls and instruments in harsh indoor and outdoor environments, the polycarbonate enclosures help protect against corrosion, windblown dust and rain, sleet, snow, splashing or hose directed water, UV and flames.

Design features

  • Impact-resistant, non-conductive lightweight reinforced polycarbonate
  • Rope style neoprene or poured polyurethane seamless gasket provides watertight, dust-tight environmental seal  
  • Sliding T-nut allows for infinite panel height adjustment back to front as well as ability to side mount panel, DIN rail, or other instruments
  • Captive screws provide smooth surfaces
  • Multi-directional mounting feet allow mounting flexibility
  • Fully non-metallic hinge, does not penetrate inside enclosure
  • Thick, robust side wall construction eliminates side wall flexing
  • Built in DIN rail mounting embosses in the back of the enclosure
  • Non-metallic or 300 series stainless steel used on all external hardware
  • Integral mounting bosses utilize threaded brass inserts accepting #10-32 screws for mounting optional panel
  • Rounded edges reduce build-up of dust and debris
